How does a gravity Casting Machine work?

The working principle of a gravity casting machine is based on gravity. First, pour the molten liquid metal into the pouring cup. Then, under the traction of gravity, the liquid metal slowly flows into the pre-prepared mold cavity through the runner. During this process, the liquid metal will gradually fill various parts of the cavity. The mold is generally equipped with exhaust holes to exhaust the air in the cavity. After the liquid metal cools and solidifies in the mold, open the mold and take out the cast parts. The whole process makes full use of gravity to complete the casting.

Traditional hydraulic oil system is powered by motor and pump. When the tonnage is confirmed, the faster pressing speed it is, the more motor power and pump flow are required. By analyzing the required oil flow each running step needs, we storage the additional energy generated during slow pressing via electromagnetic valves to the accumulator. And during fast pressing, signal will be transferred to the electromagnetic to start the accumulator. Then additional energy will be released to supplement the fast pressing. This is achieved by adding multiple sets of energy accumulators. Therefore we improve the pressing speed and production efficiency.
