Low-pressure casting is a casting method between gravity casting and pressure casting. It is to introduce dry compressed air or inert gas into a sealed crucible (or insulation furnace), so that the molten metal, under the action of gas pressure, flows smoothly into the mold cavity from bottom to top along the riser through the gate.
