Precautions for controlling gravity casting machine system

Gravity Casting Machine is a kind of equipment that uses gravity to inject molten metal into the mold for casting. 1. Inspection before equipment operation
Electrical system inspection
Check whether the power connection is firm and whether the wires are damaged or aged. Ensure that the specifications of the power cord meet the requirements of the equipment and can withstand the current load when the equipment is running.
Check whether the buttons, switches, indicator lights, etc. on the control panel are working properly. Test whether the response of each function key is sensitive and whether the indicator lights accurately display the operating status of the equipment.
Check whether the grounding of the electrical system is good. Reliable grounding can prevent electrical failures and accidental electric shock accidents.
Hydraulic system inspection
Check whether the hydraulic oil level is within the normal range. Too low a level will affect the working performance of the hydraulic system and even cause equipment damage; too high a level may cause leakage and other problems.
Check whether the hydraulic pipeline has leakage, damage, etc. Carefully check the joints, seals and other parts of the pipeline to ensure that the hydraulic oil flows normally in the system without leakage.
Check whether the hydraulic components such as hydraulic pumps and hydraulic cylinders are working properly. Observe whether the sound of the hydraulic pump is normal and whether the action of the hydraulic cylinder is smooth and accurate.
Mechanical system inspection
Check whether the various mechanical parts of the casting machine are firmly installed. Especially the mold fixing device, the casting port adjustment mechanism and other parts, ensure that there will be no loosening or displacement during the casting process.
Check whether the transmission mechanism is operating normally. For example, transmission parts such as belts, chains, gears, etc., ensure that their tension is appropriate and there is no wear, breakage and other problems.
Check the condition of the mold. Check whether the surface of the mold is damaged or deformed, and ensure that the sealing and precision of the mold meet the casting requirements.
2. Operation safety regulations
During the operation of the gravity casting machine, due to its unique dangerous factors and accident susceptibility, such as high temperature, dust, noise and mechanical damage, safety regulations must be strictly followed to ensure the safety of operators. The following are safety precautions according to different processes of casting operations:
1. Sand mixing operation
When using a roller sand mixer, be careful to prevent hand injuries. Operators should check that the equipment is normal before use. After starting, it is forbidden to clean the roller by hand. The power supply must be cut off and someone must be on guard when entering and exiting the roller. At the same time, sampling should be carried out after the machine is shut down, and the workplace should be kept clean.
2. Molding operation
When operating, attention should be paid to the safety of lifting and transportation, and work should be avoided under the hoisted object. Pay attention to prevent the sand box from falling and injury, and use screening tools to remove debris in the sand. When pit molding, ensure that the water level is safe and the exhaust duct is unobstructed.
3. Sand mold drying
When loading and unloading sand molds, a dedicated person is required to direct the loading and unloading, and the loading is stable to avoid accidents caused by unilateral loading. When adding coal or slagging, a protective mask must be worn to prevent burns.
4. Ladle and pouring
Pouring workers need to wear protective equipment and check the safety of ladles and hoists. The pouring channel must be unobstructed, and the ladles should not be too full of molten metal to prevent overflow and injury.
5. Sand drop and cleaning
Sand drop cleaning workers need to wear protective equipment, take parts correctly, and avoid casting collapse. When manually cleaning sand, it is necessary to prevent damage from flash and burrs. When using a wind shovel, safe operation should be ensured to avoid flying chips from injuring people.
Each link must strictly comply with the above safety operation points to reduce the risk of accidents, ensure the smooth progress of casting operations and personnel safety.
3. Maintenance after equipment operation
Cleaning work
After casting, the residual metal liquid and impurities on the equipment and mold should be cleaned in time. Special cleaning agents and tools can be used for cleaning to ensure that the surface of the equipment and mold is clean and tidy.
Clean dust and oil stains in the hydraulic system and electrical system. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the equipment can extend the service life of the equipment and improve the working performance of the equipment.
Lubrication and maintenance
Lubricate and maintain the various mechanical parts of the equipment. According to the instruction manual of the equipment, select the appropriate lubricant, and regularly lubricate the transmission mechanism, bearings and other parts to reduce wear and extend the service life of the equipment.
Check the seals and oil pipe joints of the hydraulic system. If there is leakage, the seals should be replaced or repaired in time. At the same time, the hydraulic oil should be replaced regularly to ensure the normal operation of the hydraulic system.
Regular inspection and maintenance
Perform a comprehensive inspection of the equipment regularly, including the electrical system, hydraulic system, mechanical system and other aspects. Check whether the various components of the equipment are working properly. If there are damaged or severely worn components, they should be replaced in time.
