Unbalance Correction of Low Pressure Casting Machine

  Low pressure casting machines are generally called static low pressure casting machines. It relies on the gravity of the rotor itself to measure static imbalance. It measures static unbalance through the weight of the rotor itself. When a rotor placed on two horizontal guide rails becomes unbalanced, the gravitational moment on the shaft causes the rotor to roll on the guide rails until the imbalance reaches a low position.

  The balance rotor is placed on a bracket supported by hydrostatic bearings, and the rearview mirror is embedded under the bracket. When the rotor is not unbalanced, the light beam emitted by the light source is reflected by the reflector and projected to the polar origin of the unbalance indicator. When the rotor is unbalanced, the rotor bracket will tilt due to the unbalanced gravity moment, the reflector under the bracket will also tilt, the reflected light beam will be deflected, and the light spot projected by the light beam on the polar coordinate display will leave the origin. According to the coordinate position of the light spot deflection, the size and position of the imbalance can be obtained.
 
  By correcting the unbalance of the rotor based on the data measured by the low-pressure Casting Machine, the low-pressure casting machine can improve the mass distribution of the rotor relative to the axis, and reduce the vibration generated when the rotor rotates and the vibration force acting on the bearing to within the allowable range. Therefore, low-pressure casting machines are essential equipment to reduce vibration and improve performance and quality.
 
  Balancing the rotor usually involves two steps: measurement and correction of the unbalance. Low-pressure casting machines are mainly used to measure unbalanced quantities. The correction of unbalanced quantities is mostly done by drilling machines, milling machines, spot welding machines and other auxiliary equipment or manually. Some low pressure casting machines use a correction device as part of the Low Pressure Casting Machine.
 
  Low-pressure casting machines are only suitable for some disk parts that do not require balance. For rotors with high balance requirements, centrifugal single-sided or double-sided low-pressure casting machines are generally used.
 
  The centrifugal low-pressure casting machine measures the imbalance amount based on the vibration of the bracket caused by the unbalanced rotor or the vibration force acting on the bracket when the rotor rotates. According to the number of calibration planes, it can be divided into single-sided low-pressure casting machines and double-sided low-pressure casting machines. The single-sided low-pressure casting machine can only measure the unbalance (static unbalance) on one plane. When the rotor rotates, it is a static low-pressure casting machine. The double-sided low-pressure casting function can measure dynamic imbalance, static imbalance and even imbalance, commonly known as dynamic low-pressure casting machine.
