1. Rapid descent
 
  The electromagnet is energized, the pilot valve and the upper cylinder main reversing valve are left in the system, the hydraulic control check valve is opened, and the upper hydraulic cylinder moves downward quickly. At this time, the oil flow in the system is as follows:
 
  (1)Oil inlet line: hydraulic pump-sequence valve-upper cylinder reversing valve-one-way valve-upper hydraulic cylinder;
 
  (2)Oil return path: lower chamber of the upper hydraulic cylinder - hydraulic control check valve - upper cylinder reversing valve - laid-off reversing valve - oil tank.
 
  The upper slider drops rapidly under its own weight. Since the flow rate of the hydraulic oil pump is small, the oil in the tank also flows into the upper chamber of the upper hydraulic cylinder through the hydraulic one-way valve.

  2. Slow pressure
 
  Starting from when the upper slide contacts the workpiece, the pressure in the upper chamber of the upper hydraulic cylinder increases, the hydraulic control check valve closes, and the pressurization speed is determined by the flow rate of the hydraulic pump. The oil flow situation is the same as when it is rapidly descending.
 
  3. Pressure holding delay
 
  When the pressure in the system rises to the point where the pressure relay pneumatically activates, an electrical signal is sent out, the control electromagnet is powered off, the pilot valve and the upper cylinder reversing valve are in the neutral position, and the system enters pressure maintenance. The pressure holding time is controlled by the time relay in the electrical control circuit and can be adjusted within 0min-24min. During pressure maintenance, except for the hydraulic pump unloading at a lower pressure, there is no oil flow in the system. The hydraulic pump unloading oil circuit is as follows.

  4. Quick return
 
  After the time relay delay expires, the pressure is maintained overnight, the electromagnet is energized, the pilot valve is connected to the system in the right position, and the pressure relief valve causes the upper hydraulic cylinder reversing valve to be connected to the system in the right position. At this time, the hydraulic control check valve is opened and the upper hydraulic cylinder returns quickly.
 
  5. Stop in place
 
  When the upper slider rises to the stop and hits the original position travel switch, the electromagnet is deenergized, and both the pilot valve and the upper hydraulic cylinder reversing valve are in the neutral position. At this time, the upper hydraulic cylinder stops. The hydraulic pump is unloaded at lower pressure.
