Classification of core shooting molds for core shooting machines

Core shooting machines are widely used in the foundry machinery industry. The cores made by core shooting machines are accurate in size and smooth in surface. Core shooting machines are widely used in the foundry machinery industry. The cores made by core shooting machines are accurate in size and smooth in surface. However, if the operating procedures of core shooting machines are not standardized, it will bury safety hazards in mechanical production. The operating procedures of core shooting machines are as follows:
 
1. Before the operation of the core shooting machine
 
(1)  Remove obstacles that hinder the normal operation of the core shooting machine equipment.
 
(2) Lubricate the equipment according to the lubrication card.
 
(3)  Check whether the fasteners of the key parts of the core shooting machine equipment are tightened. If they are loose, they must be tightened.
 
(4)  Check whether all valve handles are in the static position.
 
(5)  Turn on the compressed air main valve and conduct a no-load test run of the core shooting machine equipment. During this process, check whether the mechanism is operating normally and whether the pipelines of each valve are leaking.
 
2. In the process of operating the core shooter
 
(1) After the core shooter is started, the operator shall not leave the work station without permission, and shall concentrate on the operation according to the process procedures, but shall not operate two valves at the same time.
 
(2)  Always pay attention to the operation of the core shooter. If there is poor lubrication, loose fasteners, damaged parts, pipeline leakage, and other abnormal phenomena, the machine should be stopped immediately for processing, and the maintenance personnel should be notified for repair if necessary.
 
(3)  During the production process, if it is found that the core shooter is weak in shock, compaction, flipping, or clamping, the maintenance personnel should be notified for inspection and repair.
 
(4) Always keep the shock piston working in a lubricated state, blow off the sand on the piston regularly, and then spray lubricating oil.
 
(5) When hanging the sand box, the sand box is not allowed to collide with the model or the valve handle to avoid damaging the model or causing malfunction.
 
(6)  During the production process, frequently remove the sand accumulated on and around the core shooter to prevent sand from entering the cylinder.
 
(7)  If an accident occurs with the core shooter, the equipment should be stopped immediately, the site should be kept, and the relevant departments should be reported for inspection, analysis, and processing.
 
3. After the work is finished
 
(1)  Clean the site, clean the sand accumulated on and around the core shooter, and wipe the equipment.
 
(2)  Put all the valve handles of the core shooter in the static position and turn off the compressed air valve.
 
(3)  No sand boxes or other objects should be parked on or around the core shooter.
 
(4)  The working principle of the core shooter is to inject a core sand mixture with liquid or solid thermosetting resin as a binder into a heated core box. The sand core quickly hardens to a certain thickness (about 5 to 10 mm) in the hot core box and is taken out to obtain a high-quality sand core product with a smooth surface and precise size.
 
Compared with ordinary core shooting machines, hot core box core shooting machines have the following advantages:
 
(1) High production efficiency: The working process of hot core box core shooting machines is to fill sand and compact it at the same time, and harden it immediately in the hot core box. A cycle only takes a dozen seconds to dozens of seconds to produce sand cores for casting.
 
(2) Good quality of sand cores: It can shoot sand cores of any complexity, with precise size and smooth surface, thus reducing the machining allowance of castings.
 
(3) It can save a lot of auxiliary equipment and tools for core making, such as core drying furnace, dryer, core bone, wax wire, etc.
 
(4) Reduce labor intensity, flexible and easy to operate, easy to master, use electric heating, temperature can be automatically controlled, and the work area is easy to keep clean, creating conditions for the mechanization and automation of the core making process.
 
(5) If the gas generation system is selected, this machine can meet the requirements of cold core box core making.
