Four post hydraulic press operates normally, but the main reasons for the cylinder not moving are as follows:
1. The resistance of the actuator moving parts is too large. Troubleshooting method: eliminate the stuck and stuck problems of the 50 ton hydraulic press actuator; improve the guiding and lubrication conditions of the moving parts.

2. The oil pressure at the oil inlet of the 20 ton hydraulic press is too low and does not reach the specified value. Troubleshooting method: Check the leakage of the relevant oil circuit system and eliminate the leakage; check whether the sealing rings at the piston and piston rod are damaged, aged, loose, etc.; check whether the hydraulic pump and pressure valve are faulty.
3. The oil does not enter the hydraulic press cylinders. Troubleshooting method: Check the oil pipes and oil circuits, especially the hose joints for blockage. The relevant oil circuits from the oil cylinder to the pump should be checked in turn to eliminate the blockage; check whether the seal between the overflow valve cone valve and the valve seat is good; check whether the solenoid valve spring is damaged or the solenoid coil is burned; whether the oil circuit is switched insensitively.
4. The sliding part of the hydraulic press cylinders is too tight, and the sealing friction is too large. Elimination method: H8/f8 should be used between the piston rod and the guide sleeve; check whether the size of the sealing ring is strictly processed according to the standard; if a V-shaped sealing ring is used, the sealing friction should be adjusted to a moderate level.
5. Due to improper design and manufacturing of the 20 ton hydraulic press, the effective working area of ​​the pressure oil acting on the piston is too small when the piston returns to the end point. Elimination method: Improve the design and remanufacture.
6. The lateral load on the piston rod is too large, especially the tension or the cylinder sleeve is strained, or stuck. Elimination method: When installing the hydraulic cylinder, the cylinder sleeve axis position should be consistent with the direction of movement; the load borne by the hydraulic cylinder should be transmitted through the cylinder sleeve axis as much as possible to avoid eccentricity; when the long hydraulic cylinder rotates horizontally, the piston rod will bend due to its own weight, causing the guide sleeve and the piston to be eccentric, resulting in damage to the cylinder head seal, oil leakage, and the piston sleeping in the cylinder. The following measures can be taken: increase the piston plan, adjust the outer circle of the piston to be processed into a convex shape, so that the piston can position itself, improve the force condition, reduce and avoid pulling the cylinder; the piston and the piston rod are connected with a ball head.
7. The back pressure of the hydraulic press cylinders is too large. Elimination method: reduce the back pressure. Among them, the important reason why the hydraulic cylinder cannot move is that the oil pressure at the oil inlet is too low, that is, the working pressure is insufficient. The main reason for the insufficient working pressure of the hydraulic system is the failure of the hydraulic pump, drive motor, pressure regulating valve, etc. Other reasons include: oil filter blockage, small oil circuit diameter, oil viscosity is too high or too low; too much air enters the oil; serious pollution; wrong pipeline connection; pressure gauge damage, etc.
8. Poor installation connection: The resistance of the moving parts of the hydraulic press cylinders is too large or the installation connection is poor, which will also cause the cylinder to be unable to move. The cylinder needs to be reinstalled correctly and the blockage and stagnation of the moving parts need to be eliminated.
9. Oil pipe blockage: The blockage of the oil pipe and oil circuit will hinder the oil from entering the hydraulic press cylinders. It is necessary to check whether the oil pipe, oil circuit, especially the hose joint is blocked and clean it in time.
