The basic principle of gravity casting machine: use the basic principle of standard air pressure to pressurize the product and give it a solid shape. Although it sounds simple, its production process is not that easy. To be specific, it first releases 0.01~0.05Mpa of gas pressure or inert gas pressure on the surface of the molten metal in the closed maintenance furnace. The molten metal gradually begins to fill from the bottom of the die, and solidifies after maintaining the pressure for a period of time. Solidification begins to migrate from the top of the product to the direction of the glue inlet. The time when part of the glue inlet solidifies is the time when the pressure is completed. Therefore, the perfect casting is obtained by the specific solidification of the glue inlet and the pressure effect of the riser starting from the glue inlet. In gravity casting, due to the gravity field in the mold, the liquid metal is easier to fill the entire mold, and a good solidification structure is formed during the solidification process, thereby obtaining high-quality castings.
Finally, when the casting is cooled to below the solidus temperature, the product can be removed from the mold. The pressure and speed of gravity casting can be adjusted, so it can be used for various different metal molds (such as metal molds, sand molds, etc.), casting various alloys and castings of various sizes.
The molten metal starts to fill slowly from the bottom of the die, and solidifies after maintaining the pressure for a period of time. The solidification starts from the top of the product to move to the injection port. The time when part of the injection port solidifies is the time when the pressure is completed. Finally, when the casting is cooled to below the solid phase temperature, the product can be taken out of the mold. The working pressure and speed of gravity casting can be adjusted, so it can be used for various different metal molds (such as metal molds, sand molds, etc.), forging various aluminum alloys and various sizes of castings.
