Future development direction and trend of hydraulic press

(1) Hydraulic presses equipped with automatic loading and unloading devices or automated hydraulic presses will become the future development direction of hydraulic presses. At present, due to labor costs and technical problems, most domestic enterprises use manual loading and unloading. However, some developed countries have basically popularized automated production lines in the 1960s and 1970s. In order to improve their corporate image and production efficiency, domestic enterprises are now beginning to use and purchase automated production lines and automatic loading and unloading hydraulic presses. Some enterprises have also begun to replace the original loading and unloading hydraulic press production lines with automated hydraulic presses equipped with robots.

(2) Multi-station: The demand for multi-station hydraulic presses will increase greatly. Due to processing equipment, technology and other reasons, there are not many multi-station hydraulic presses in China. Multi-station hydraulic presses have many advantages: ① Multiple processes are completed at different stations of the hydraulic press, reducing the number of hydraulic presses, thereby reducing the equipment's footprint and capital investment; ② Reduce the equipment's intermediate feeding process and operators; ③ Improve production efficiency; ④ Reduce investment costs. Today's high-quality hydraulic press manufacturers have the design and production capabilities of multi-station hydraulic presses in terms of processing technology and technology. In the next few years, multi-station hydraulic presses will be widely used in certain industries. In the United States, 70% of stamping lines are multi-station hydraulic presses. In Japan, the number of multi-station hydraulic presses accounts for 32% of the total number of hydraulic presses. In China, there are almost no multi-station hydraulic presses.
 
(3) Fast and high-speed hydraulic presses can double the speed of mass production. If the efficiency of the hydraulic press is doubled, one production line can replace two production lines, and the user only needs to invest a little. The fast descending and return speed of ordinary hydraulic presses is only 100-200mm/s, while the speed of fast hydraulic presses is now as high as 450mm/s. Some foreign high-speed mini hydraulic press machines have hundreds of strokes per minute. Due to the birth of fast hydraulic presses, the proportion of new automobile stamping production lines using hydraulic presses after 2000 has exceeded 65%, while automobile stamping production lines before the 1990s almost all used machine hydraulic presses. There is great potential for improving the speed and efficiency of hydraulic presses. Manufacturers should strengthen research and development in this area and improve work efficiency on the basis of cooperating with automatic loading and unloading devices.
 
(4) Improve the performance of hydraulic presses by relying on electro-hydraulic proportional technology, sensors, electronic equipment, computers, and networks. The rapid development of electro-hydraulic proportional elements in the 1980s and the application of proportional valves and pumps in hydraulic presses have enabled the functions of hydraulic presses to be controlled electrically, changing the hydraulic control system of hydraulic presses. Some hydraulic presses use functions such as proportional pressure regulation, proportional speed regulation, synchronization, energy saving, high speed, variable pressure and speed change, pressure and position control. In terms of electrical control, the powerful functions of computers and networks are combined with microelectronics technology to combine electro-hydraulic proportional technology and electro-hydraulic technology with computers.
 
(5) In terms of environmental protection and energy saving, the design and manufacture of hydraulic presses should attract the attention of manufacturers in the future. In this regard, the following points should be achieved: ① Reduce the installed power of the hydraulic press and reduce energy loss during operation. In the hydraulic system, minimize overflow and throttling and design the hydraulic system reasonably. For example, a hydraulic press that relies on an overflow valve to maintain pressure may consume the energy of a closed pump to maintain pressure, while a system that relies on an accumulator to increase the no-load speed wastes at least twice as much energy as a fast cylinder system. ② Improve the sealing quality and reduce the pollution to the environment caused by hydraulic oil leakage. ⑧ Reduce noise, isolate and close the large noise source.
